Isikhulu se-IATA: I-EU ivimbela abathwali base-Afrika indlela engalungile

Izinkampani zezindiza zinxuse ohulumeni baseNtshonalanga ukuthi benze okwengeziwe ukwenza ngcono ukuphepha e-Afrika, futhi zasola i-European Union ngokwehluleka ukuqonda izidingo zezwekazi ngokuvala inqwaba yabathwali.

Inhloko ye-International Air Transport Association (Iata), emele izindiza eziningi ezinkulu, ithe uhlu lwabasebenzi abavinjelwe e-EU luhlanganisa abambalwa abaphephile, lokho kanye ne-EU yehlulekile ukusiza abanye abadinga usizo olusebenzayo.

U-Iata uthi ukuphepha kwezindiza zase-Afrika kube ngcono kusukela ngo-2010 kuya ku-2011, kodwa izinga lezingozi zezwekazi liselibi kakhulu emhlabeni.

"Ukuphepha kwenkampani yezindiza kuncike ezintweni ezimbalwa, hhayi nje kuphela ekufanelekeni emoyeni kwendiza: isibonelo ukuqeqeshwa komshayeli nabasebenzi kanye nokuqina kanye nezinqubo zokuphepha zendiza," esho.

UTyler uthe i-EU ivumele izindiza zaseYurophu ukuthi zisebenzele amazwe abathwali bawo abavinjelwe hhayi ngenxa yokwehluleka kwabathwali abangewona abe-EU, kodwa ngenxa yokukhathazeka ngokulawulwa kwendawo yezindiza.

"Kuhambisana nezindinganiso eziphindwe kabili futhi kuyindlela engalungile," esho.

“Okulungile wukungena lapho futhi usize ekuxazululeni ukushoda kokulawulwa kwemithetho. Asihambe siyosiza abalawuli ukulungisa lokho kuntula – ukufaka izinkampani zabo zezindiza ohlwini lwabavinjiwe akuyona indlela efanele,” wengeza.
