I-IATA: Inqubekelaphambili ebalulekile eyenziwe eMhlanganweni wama-40 we-ICAO

The Inhlangano Yezindiza Yezindiza Yomhlaba Wonke (IATA) uncome inqubekelaphambili ebonakalayo eyenziwe ohulumeni eMhlanganweni wama-40 we Inhlangano Yamazwe Ngamazwe Yezokundiza (ICAO).

Imvelo yayiphezulu ku-ajenda, futhi ngemva kwezingxoxo eziqinile phakathi kwezifundazwe, kwaba nemiphumela emibili ebalulekile:

“Sidinga ukusebenzisa i-CORSIA ngempumelelo. Ibalulekile esithembisweni sethu sokukhula kwe-carbon-neutral. • Abagibeli Abakhubazekile: UMkhandlu ucele uMkhandlu we-ICAO ukuthi wenze uhlelo lomsebenzi mayelana nokufinyeleleka kwabagibeli abakhubazekile ukuze kufinyelelwe ohlelweni lwezokuthutha lwendiza olubandakanya ukukhubazeka. • Izindlela Zezindiza Ezingasebenzi (Drones): UMkhandlu uyalele uMkhandlu we-ICAO ukuthi ucubungule ngokushesha ukusungulwa komgwamanda oseqophelweni eliphezulu nemboni ozohlinzeka njalo izeluleko zamasu eMkhandlwini mayelana nokusungula izinto ezintsha. Lokhu kufaka phakathi izindaba ezinjengokuhlanganiswa kwe-UAS emkhathini. Lokhu kuhambisana nekhwelo le-IATA lokuthi imibuso isebenzisane nge-ICAO kanye nokubambisana nezimboni ukuthuthukisa izinhlinzeko zalaba basha basemoyeni.

• Abagibeli Abangalawuleki: IsiGungu sinqume ukunxenxa imibuso ukuthi yamukele i-Montreal Protocol yowezi-2014 ethuthukisa izindlela zokubhekana nabagibeli abangalawuleki—isinyathelo i-IATA esiseseka ngokugcwele.

• I-ID eyodwa: UMkhandlu ugunyaze iphrojekthi ye-IATA One ID egqamisa izinzuzo zokuqashelwa kwe-biometric ukuze kuvikelwe futhi kube lula inqubo yokugunyazwa kwabagibeli. Isidingo sezinqubomgomo eziqinile zokuvikela idatha—ezakhelwe kuphrojekthi ye-One ID—sagcizelelwa.

Ukusebenza Ndawonye

LOKHO ONGAKUTHATHE KULESI SIHLOKO:

  • A decade ago the aviation industry agreed a long-term goal to cut aviation emissions to half the levels of 2005 by 2050 and is working on a pathway to achieve that goal.
  • The Assembly requested the ICAO Council to develop a work program on accessibility for passengers with disabilities in order to reach for a disability-inclusive air transport system.
  • The Assembly directed the ICAO Council to urgently consider the establishment of a high-level body with the industry to regularly provide strategic advice to the Council concerning innovation.
