- Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI President, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the kingdom of Thailand has coordinated with THAI to support in transporting as earliest as possible the stranded Thais from Cairo International Airport in Egypt.
- However, due to the escalating situation and THAI's review of flight safety to Cairo, the operational effectiveness at the airport, and other crucial factors, a direct flight to Cairo was not possible.
- The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, therefore, has arranged for a charter flight to bring the stranded Thais from Cairo, Egypt, to Amman, Jordan.
