Njengengxenye yeNyanga Yezokuvakasha ye-Caribbean Tourism Organisation (CTO), i-St. Eustatius Tourism Development Foundation (STDF) izoqhuba umkhankaso wokuqwashisa umphakathi ngezokuvakasha, onendikimba ethi “I am Tourism.” Phakathi nomkhankaso, abantu emphakathini bazonikezwa ithuba lokuveza izinkolelo zabo nokuzibophezela kwabo emkhiqizweni wezokuvakasha we-Statia. “I am Tourism” yisihloko sokuqala somkhankaso wokuqwashisa we-STDF, ozoqhubeka kuze kube maphakathi no-2016.
Nyanga zonke kuzogqanyiswa isihloko esihlukile emikhakheni yezokuvakasha kwezemidlalo, ezokuvakasha kwezolimo, “i-voluntourism,” ezokuvakasha kwezamagugu, nezokuvakasha komphakathi. Inhloso yalolu hlelo wukuqwashisa ngezokuvakasha emphakathini ukuze izakhamizi zigxile kakhulu kwezokuvakasha futhi zibandakanyeke ngemisebenzi nolwazi oluthuthukisiwe. I-STDF izokwethula ifilimu yomzuzu owodwa ethi “I am Tourism” namuhla, ngoLwesine.
LOKHO ONGAKUTHATHE KULESI SIHLOKO:
- ” During the campaign, persons in the community will be given the opportunity to express their beliefs and commitment to the Statia tourism product.
- The objective of the program is to create tourism awareness within the community to get citizens more tourism-minded and involved through stimulated activities and information.
- Every month a different topic will be highlighted in the areas of sports tourism, agro-tourism, “voluntourism,” heritage tourism, and community tourism.
